Peaky Blinders take Formby Beach

Filming in the Liverpool area continued today with both Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and Alfie Solomons (Tom Hardy) filming on Formby Beach. On a beautiful sunny day, locals out for a stroll or walking their dogs plus a few guided there by social media, were treated to an acting masterclass by 2 of the finest actors of their generation. We could take photos between filming

but were asked not to post any spoilers so have complied with that and chosen photos that don't give away the plot

and hopefully all the others there will do the same. It was canine heaven with lots of dogs out for a walk, a Bull Mastiff who was part of the cast and Tom's own dog, Woody, star of CBeebies. There was also a photo shoot with Cillian and on such a beautiful day with a wonderful natural backdrop, those photos should be a treat when they are released.
